Are you unable to access
the Internet?
If you are
able to connect and to check your email, BUT cannot access
the Internet, then you need to check your TCP/IP settings.
To check the TCP/IP settings, perform
these steps:
(Example being shown as Win98)
1.
Double-click Dial-Up Networking.
2.
Right-click the RGV connection.
3.
Select the Properties option. The General
dialog appears:

4.
Verify the phone number is correct.
5.
Verify the Use area code and Dialing Properties
box is not checked.
6.
Click the Server Types tab. The Server
Types dialog appears:

7.
Verify that only the Enable software compression
box and the TCP/IP box are checked.
8.
Click the TCP/IP Settings button. The TCP/IP
Settings dialog appears:

9.
Verify that the Server assigned IP address
button and the Server assigned name server addresses
button are selected.
10.
Click the OK button.
